Santa Baby

Jeremy and I took the boys to see Santa the other day, I think every 5 minutes, until we left, Drew asked "is it time yet". He couldn't stand the wait, however, he fell asleep on the way there and then took awhile to warm up to him.
Ty on the other hand sat on Santa's lap for awhile, and for those of you who have seen the stair down Ty gives, well that is what Santa got.

I was only able to take one picture of each of them what you see is what I got.

Because they sat on Santa's lap they got a free ice cream

That night, after we got back to Dyersville, Drew and I went to a Gingerbread House workshop, that Shelly (the other Pampered Chef lady) had. He had a blast. Most of the work he did himself.

Jewelery Tree

Now I've only had this written for over a month I just haven't uploaded pictures forever to finish the post...such a procrastinator!

While we were in Nebraska for Grandma's funeral we decided we would all go back late October to help clear out the house. I unfortunately did not make it back, but Aunt Carol asked what I would like and really only one thing came to mind, and to be honest it really isn't my taste, but because of how special Grandma had made me feel one day, I wanted it.
What I remember most from Grandma's house was a wall decoration in the shape of a Christmas tree she had made of jewelery. Most or all of the jewelery belonged to someone in the family, and it was strung with Christmas lights.
When I was young she would turn the lights on and tell me whose jewelery belonged to who, and it all fascinated me. I took it upon myself to point out to her that nothing on the tree belonged to me, at some point after that, I had lost one of my favorite earrings in the swimming pool, a penguin earring to be exact, and Grandma took the other and found a home for it on the jewelery tree. At that age something so small, made me feel so special and loved.

Thanksgiving

I am so far behind on posting anything. I will probably have a post a day for the rest of the week to space them out.

Sweet Baby Loves

I love that Ty buries his face into his blanket when I come to get him out of bed in the morning or after nap and waits till I saw "where Tyson"

I love that he likes to head butt me and just stair into my eyes

I love that when I say "I'm gonna get you" he takes off running toward me

I love when he hears that bath start he runs into the bathroom

I love how when him and Drew play monster he still takes off running a screaming when Drew comes out of hiding

I love his curls

I love that at the most random times he comes to give me kisses

I love how he puts on some of Drew's masks and he crawls at us

I love when you ask "you want some milk" or "you want something to eat" he takes off running to the kitchen

I love that he says "Hhhiiii"

I love that he is so adventurous...he isn't afraid of anything

I love when we go to Fareway to see Daddy, he starts looking for him as soon as we walk in the door, and he as soon as he spots him he says "Hhhiii" to Daddy until he acknowledge him

I love how serious he looks at people when he doesn't know them

I love how sweet he is with Heavy

I love his sweet baby loves

I Love You More Than The Whole Wide World

I love to sit and watch Drew play, especially when whatever he is playing with talks to each other

I love when he catches me watching him play he gets embarrassed

I love that everything has a time, "I'll do it in 22 hours"

I love that at the most random times he says "I love you more than the whole wide world"

I love picking him up from pre-school and hearing about all the amazing things he learned

I love when we get home from pre-school the first thing he does is shows me the amazing things he made that day

I love when I tell him "Santa is watching" he looks around and asks "but where is he"

I love when Ty is upset he will come over, rub his back, and say "it's okay Ty Ty"

I love when he winks at me

I love to play "guys" with him, even though I get covered in spit

I love that he looks at our wedding picture and says "Mommy was a princess that day"

I love the first morning snuggles from him

I love that he asks for chocolaty chocolaty milk

I love that the smallest things make him happy

I love watching him run up and jump in Jeremy's arms when he gets home for the day

Picture Day

Today I took the boys to get their pictures taken, and I will not be doing that by myself ever again...it was too much work to try and keep them both entertained and out of things.
Here they are, Drew is by the number 3 and 4 because Mommy slacked and didn't get his 3 year ones taken in January. Unfortunately these are done with out an enhancements. And I must say too I can't wait to see them on a Christmas card, special thanks goes to a certain someone for that!

How Did I Miss This

As some of you may know I have started selling Pampered Chef.
To kick my business of locally I decided to have an open house on December 12th. It is a Saturday, Jeremy will be at work, Mom is going to help with the boys. I had flyers made to hang around town and put on cars (yes, I'm going to be one of those people). I picked my flyers up Thursday, which happened to be a beautiful day, so the boys and I headed up town to hang them up in business...I'd say we hung up around 20 or so down main street and a few places off main.
Sunday, Nicole (my neighbor and her husband works with Jeremy) walked by and as we got to talking she tells me my flyer says November 12th...which is this Thursday. So now I guess I'm having two, I'm sure Thursday won't be much of a turn out, it is from 2-4, but of course I can't turn away business!
But, how did I miss this, I double checked the flyer a few times before I approved it.

What Happened?

Drew has always been a good big brother to Ty. He would get him his bottle, get him toys, give him hugs all the time. However, the last two days he has picked on him, bullied him, and made him cry two many times to count. I can't figure out what is going on here. When I ask why his only answer is "cause".

All I can hope is they don't fight like Melissa and I did.

Trick-Or-Treat, Smell My Feet

Here are the few pictures I got of the boys. Drew was ready to get a move on things. Oh and Ty was called a girl many times...maybe it is time for a haircut, but I can't bring myself to do...I love his curls.

And here is Drew and Aaron at school.

Ten Little Pumpkins...Okay Two

We went to the Pumpkin Patch while Jeremy was on vacation. It was so cold that day, we were trying to get though ever thing as quickly as possible so there aren't many pictures and even fewer pictures of Drew because he didn't want his taken.

And here are a few taken at home on a nicer day with their Halloween shirts on. Ty knows that the flash is coming so most of the pictures I have of him he has his eyes shut a few did turn out when I was able to time it better.

25 RANDOM Things About Me

I am trying to be as creative as possible, but with 25 things...it might not be possible.

1. I would give up most anything to be able to have just one more day with my Dad so I could tell him that I love him.

2. When my Dad died it made me lose faith, and even more so when we had his services in Eldora. My faith has come back.

3. I hate it when my babies are sick, but deep down I LOVE the extra snuggle time.

4. I love my boys to death, but there are days I feel like I am going to lose my mind, so when Jeremy gets home, I will go to the store even if I don't need anything.

5. I can't keep a jade tree alive. I had one for years and re-potted it...maybe it is the pot.

6. When we finally get to buy a house, I don't plan on having a single white wall...I am so tired of white walls.

7. I don't mind cleaning, but I hate to dust...and this house the dust comes fast.

8. Again, I don't mind cleaning but at times wished Jeremy would help more like he did when I was working.

9. There are people that don't agree with my parenting method (especially when it comes to discipline) but it seems to work so I won't change for you.

10. I really want my Grandma's jewelery tree. It isn't my style, but when I was young my Grandma made me feel so special because of that tree.

11. I call my decorating style "modern country".

12. I wish dieting came easier to me.

13. I'm glad to be close to my Mom and Jeremy's parents...but I am ready to move. Dyersville isn't the town for me or us.

14. Fall is my FAVORIATE time of year. I love the colors, I love to decorate for it, I love the weather.

15. I have baby fever, but I know now is not the time.

16. I wish that I was able to see my friends more often. My besties have gotten me through some rough times...you know who you all are. I love you and I am so glad to have you in my life.

17. Going to Holland for a year is in my top 5. And according to Mom I have Aunt Carol to thank for that.

18. And going to Holland, I didn't want to miss my senior year, but it was very difficult to come home and finish my senior year.

19. I think my boys have way to many toys, but I won't stop buying more for them.

20. I'm already using Santa to make Drew behave some days.

21. I wish my husband took after his Dad and was a little more handy.

22. Thinks if Jeremy hadn't been apart of my life when Dad died I wouldn't have made it through it.

23. I drink way too much coffee during the day, which is probably why I can't sleep at night...maybe I should switch to decaf.

24. With Grandma passing I feel she was my last connection to my Dad is some weird way.

25. Truly thinks naming Drew after Dad fits him perfectly.

Boys...yes they are!

Not so sure how we are going to handle winter. This is where we spent all of our summer days...playing in the sand and dirt.

The Game

I figured my last post had enough pictures so here are pictures from the game.
