Jewelery Tree

Now I've only had this written for over a month I just haven't uploaded pictures forever to finish the post...such a procrastinator!

While we were in Nebraska for Grandma's funeral we decided we would all go back late October to help clear out the house. I unfortunately did not make it back, but Aunt Carol asked what I would like and really only one thing came to mind, and to be honest it really isn't my taste, but because of how special Grandma had made me feel one day, I wanted it.
What I remember most from Grandma's house was a wall decoration in the shape of a Christmas tree she had made of jewelery. Most or all of the jewelery belonged to someone in the family, and it was strung with Christmas lights.
When I was young she would turn the lights on and tell me whose jewelery belonged to who, and it all fascinated me. I took it upon myself to point out to her that nothing on the tree belonged to me, at some point after that, I had lost one of my favorite earrings in the swimming pool, a penguin earring to be exact, and Grandma took the other and found a home for it on the jewelery tree. At that age something so small, made me feel so special and loved.
