Pancakes

This past Saturday I had Izzy and Ally, I decided that an easy enough breakfast is pancakes (for those of you who don't know me well, I don't do much of the cooking in this house...I've gotten better). I thought back to my childhood and when my Grandma Phil would make me pancakes, she would make them into shapes of dogs, cats, snowmen, she would even spell out MEGAN LEIGH RAY, I thought I "no problem, I can do that". HA! My Mickey Mouse didn't even look like Mickey Mouse, I just wonder how my Grandma did it, she amazes me, next time I am in Tekamah I may have to take a lesson in the art of pancakes.

I'm A Big Kid Now!!

I'm not really sure where the time is going, but it is hard to believe everything that the boys are doing.

Drew starts preschool in a month and a half...this day is going to be so hard on me. He finally decided that it isn't that hard to ride his tricycle that he got from Papa and Grandma Pingel, and he is even trying to roller skate.

The boys playing so well together outside.

Tyson is standing and starting to get brave to even take a few steps, he doesn't want anything to do with "baby toys" and only wants to play with Drew's toys. Oh and yes, he is a climber, he will climb onto anything that he can.

Yee Haw

We took the boys to their first rodeo the other weekend, Drew loved it and it seemed to keep Ty entertained. This was the first time I've been to a rodeo since we moved to Iowa and it has been awhile for J too. Even though I think this is where I lost my memory card for my camera we still had fun.
Here are a some pictures.

Fireworks, parade, and too much food...oh my

I don't really feel like writing a whole lot today, so to sum up the weekend...Friday we went to the park in Dyersville where they had jumpers and blow up slides and then we watched the firework show (best I've ever seen). Then on Saturday we went over to Mom's and went to the parade and the firework show there (another great show).
Hope you all had a great and safe 4th of July!
